Crafting the future of Education

Fab Learning Academy (FLA) is a distributed educational program that globally certifies educators to teach through the use of digital fabrication tools and technologies in education ecosystems.

As schools add digital makerspaces, the need for comprehensive training for teachers and other educators to unlock the potential of these technologies increases. Educators often are left to seek out their own training with a new technology, and many of these training programs are designed to teach only the operation and use of the equipment without consideration of the unique circumstances educators face.

The program aims to create links between technology, learning sciences, and innovative practices in education, to develop digital fluency, through maker methodologies, to improve the learning of new skills and transversal competencies for K-12 students, to build a better, equitable, and fair society for all.
