Oscar Diaz

Oscar Diaz is an advocate for STEAM education and digital
fabrication, with extensive experience in managing Fab Labs, developing
training for prototyping and digital fabrication, and creating educational
content. A graduate of the Fab Academy Diploma (2017) and instructor (2017,
2018, 2024).

As Education and Operations Manager at Creative Spark
Enterprise FabLab in Ireland, Oscar leads impactful STEAM initiatives such as
FabConnectHer, an Erasmus+ project empowering girls and women in STEAM through
creativity, skills development, and entrepreneurial pathways; Taiscéalaí, a
program linking sustainability and 3D printing with the primary school
curriculum; and Architects in Schools, where he inspires transition year
students with design thinking and architectural innovation.

His leadership has been recognized with a Fab Foundation
scholarship (2017), co-winning the 2019 Chevron STEM Education Award, and
receiving an honourable mention in the 2024 Chevron FAB STEM Fellowship Award.
