MICHELLE BETTIS
My name is Michelle Bettis and I currently serve as Instructional Coach for two district high schools. I consider being the mother of three amazing children, Andrew (19), Blake (11) and Lila (10) to be my greatest accomplishment. My children and I are members of Ooltewah United Methodist Church. Following high school graduation, I earned a Bachelor’s in Multidisciplinary School Learning from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. In 2000, I received my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Tusculum College in Greenville, TN. In 2018, I founded the district-wide girls coding organization, Gig City Girls. 2019 marks my 18th year in education. As President of the Ms. Wheelchair Tennessee organization, I love supporting my sister and her mission to educate the world about wheelchair users. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, raising backyard chickens, and photographing waterfalls. The beach is my favorite place to relax and recharge!
