Summary

In this workshop students will learn to make an electronics rakhi with Basic electronics.

Students learn about electronics by creating their own electronics Rakhi.  Students will study the elements and principles of design and understand how they are used to create a laser cutter computer programmable electronics rakhi. In this lesson, students will conceptualize and then turn their ideas into real-life models.

What You'll Need

– LED 2

– Button Cell

– Decorative less

– Fewistick

– Glue gun &glue stick

– laser Cutter

– Soldering Iron      

– Wire cutter/stripper

The Instructions

Discuss with students about Basic Electronic Concepts.

Discuss with student about LED, Button cell, LED +ve & -ve concepts.

refer attachements

Design our own Rakhi in different shapes.

Use 2D design software Inkscape.

Introduce them with Inkscape software.

Cut the design using Laser Cutter.

Introduce them with Benbox machine software.

Make connections of LEDs & button cell.

: a) Connect 1st LED to 2nd LED according following table: 1st LED 2nd LED Positive Positive Negative Negative b) Connect Common Point of both LED to Button Cell according to following table: Both LED Button Cell Positive Positive Negative Negative

Check Connections.

Explain basic electronics & series & parallel connections and ask them to difference in both connection.

 

Decorate & Assemble It.

Decorate it with the help of various decorative materials.

Test your Electronic Rakhi.

Touch to rakhi, LEDS blink.
