What You'll Need

Vector graphics software.

Vinyl cutter.

The Instructions

Research

Find ideas for safety stickers.

Search online for safety signs for workshops and labs.

Select 2 vector drawings to be used in the design.

Make the vector images

Insert vector drawings in the software. Create labels to accompany the logos.

Clean logos to avoid excessive complexity and overlapping lines.

Write the labels and try out different fonts and sizes.

Create a rectangle that contains the design.

Set cutting settings and test.

Cut

Send the design to the vinyl cutter.

Insert the vinyl paper into the cutter.

Press cut.

Prepare your sticker

Prepare the output from the cutter.

Using tweezers to help you, get rid of all the printed bits that are not part of your design.

Use painter’s tape to prepare the sticker for transfer to another surface.

Transfer sticker to final location
